Yes, when you select a gift of impact online, you will receive an acknowledgement and email with a tax receipt immediately for any donation greater than $20 whether you buy a gift for yourself or give to someone else. Our Charitable Registration Number is 11882 9803 RR 0001.The purchase of physical merchandise is not considered a charitable donation for Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) purposes, and therefore is not eligible for a tax receipt.

Online gift purchases can be paid for with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. If you mail in your donation you may also pay by cheque, made payable to the Canadian Cancer Society. If you order by phone you can pay by credit card only.
Yes. Immediately after you complete your online gift purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and tax receipt via email. If you purchase your virtual gifts over the phone, you will have the option to have your order confirmation and tax receipt sent via email or mail. If you have completed a mail-in form, you will receive an order confirmation and tax receipt three weeks after we have processed your gift order.
